Growing up in Ventura, Ian spent most of his time at the beach and went on to be a lifeguard for 13 years. He has lived all over Southern California and spent some time in Portland, Oregon. Ian is inspired by nature and the beautiful landscapes California has to offer.

He is a self-taught artist working mostly with acrylic and oil on canvas. He works out of his home studio with his family based in Ventura County, CA.
